High & Dry
High & Dry Manufacturing are UK based and have been producing water beds for many years and well known within the industry. Primarily they made a large range of hard sided wood stained and upholstered frames in their own workshops down near the south coast.
Like many manufacturers they turned their attention to the ever increasing popular soft sided water bed producing the Sophie and Meadow. The hard sided frames slowly reduced in demand and now all the templates have been put into semi retirement only to gather dust. One or two of the most popular frames and headboards have been adapted to be combined with the Sophie soft side offering a twist to what we generally call a 'conversion'. The Sophie looks similar to that of the BWC Hydrobed, but completely different in design and offers more versatility. However, a little more 'bitty' to put together but once assembled a good quality solid bed. H&D also offer a good range of replacement mattresses for both soft and hard sided water beds.
